Fredericksburg Cooperative Preschool

• Parents direct the preschool through attending membership meetings about six times a year, participating on one or more committees, and serving (if elected) on the Board of Directors.
• Parents contribute directly to their child's education by "parent helping" in the classroom every four to six weeks.
• In the classroom, parents can use their special talents and interests to enhance the school's curriculum.
• Parents also escort their child's class on field trips throughout the year and help plan holiday parties.
• Working with the teachers and fellow participants gives parents the opportunity to shape their child's educational environment.
• Each family is responsible for meeting a fundraising quota.
