The School
- Fredericksburg
Cooperative Preschool is a nonprofit program organized and administered by
the parents and staffed with professional teachers.
- The school has a
dual goal of quality education for both the children enrolled and their
parents.
- Volunteering as a
special helper once a month gives parents a unique opportunity to help
bridge the gap between school and home, providing reassurance and
support as their child ventures forth into a bigger world. Parents
benefit by observing their child and participating in the classroom.
This joint learning experience is one of the most exciting reasons for
enrolling your child in Fredericksburg Cooperative Preschool.
- The school is a
member of the Virginia
Cooperative Preschool Council (VCPC).
- The adult:child
ratio is 1:5 or better at all times. The 3-year-old program can
accommodate 13 children in the class; the 4-year-old program can
accommodate 15.
